What was the highlight of Hyatt Place Gothenburg Central
A clean and simple stay literally above the Central Station
The bed and pillows were comfortable. Even during the Easter long weekend, the room felt well sound insulated because it was calm and quiet at night. Though at 8am, we heard children yelling and running down the halls. The breakfast was well stocked and offered a variety of options, but the pancakes were out.
The room was smaller than shown on Booking.com.

What was the highlight of Hyatt Place Gothenburg Central
Conveniently located at GBG station. Comfy room, good breakfast, but could use some renovations.
Location is one of the best in Gothenburg, it being situated at the train station. For me travelling in from Stockholm it was really convenient, and there are lots of shops and cafes etc at the station. Breakfast was very good, with a typical breakfast buffet and lots of seating. Comfort wise it was fine. It is not the newest hotel and does need some renovations and upgrades in the rooms, but overall I felt that the room was comfy enough. The gym is quite a unique experience because it is directly above/ in front of the train tracks so you get a view down onto the trains from the treadmill. It's a smallish gym but had enough weights and machines to have a good workout.
The sauna is only open from late afternoon which was a shame because I couldn't use it. I would prefer if it was open in the mornings or daytime.

Great stay at the center of Gothenburg
I liked everything, location, room and breakfast.
The second day (Sunday) during breakfast there were so many people since 9:00 in the morning that it was almost impossible to move around the table where there was food.

Great location for exploring Gothenburg. The staff were friendly, there was a great choice at breakfast and the rooms were comfy and clean.
Booked a double bed and it came as 2 singles pushed together.
