What was the highlight of Hyatt Place Gothenburg Central
A clean and simple stay literally above the Central Station
The bed and pillows were comfortable. Even during the Easter long weekend, the room felt well sound insulated because it was calm and quiet at night. Though at 8am, we heard children yelling and running down the halls. The breakfast was well stocked and offered a variety of options, but the pancakes were out.
The room was smaller than shown on Booking.com.

A very good and convenient place to stay.
The Hotel was not clearly marked as Hotel G but otherwise it is in an excellent location above the station, in the city centre. The room was comfortable and quiet. Adequate storage. Good WiFi and shower and good breakfast.

Great hotel! Highly recommended!
Location is superb! It is located above the train station (Gothernburg Central Station). The room is spacious, comfortable, clean and very presentable. There are more than enough socket points and even USB points in the room. There is an electric kettle, a mini fridge (with transparent door!) and all that we need! We stayed in a few other hotels in Sweden for this trip and this hotel more than meets our expectations and worth the money we paid for! The front desk staff (two gentlemen) on the day we checked-in were friendly and pleasant. On the day we checked out, there was a slightly older gentleman who is equally helpful. I was impressed when we turned on the TV and received a personalised welcome! (Please see pic). This hotel gives us the impression that they put customers first!
There should be clearer directional signage from the train station leading to the hotel. When we stepped out of the station (after following the signage), we could hardly see the hotel's name.
